Some Photos from the 25 Years of Priesthood of Father Pinaud

Note : These pictures were first published on the Canada Fidèle website on 22 October 2018.

On Sunday 14 October, we celebrated the 25 years of priesthood of Father Nicolas Pinaud in the pavilion of the Old Presbytery of Batiscan. The room was packed with those who came from all over to show their friendship and gratitude to Father Pinaud.

In his sermon, Father gave us a quick picture of his twenty-five years as a priest, but also in particular of the family atmosphere which contributed to the blossoming of his vocation. Father took the opportunity to provide good advice to the parents present.

After a picnic meal, a crucifix sculpted by Médard Bourgault, a famous sculptor from Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, was offered to Father Pinaud.

A day full of joy which ended with a visit to Notre-Dame-du-Cap before the departure of the retreatants for Nominingue.

The retreat in Nominingue went well, Deo Gratias! Eight men were able to take advantage of the beautiful setting of Lake Nominingue to attend the preaching of the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius by Fathers Nicolas Pinaud and Pierre Roy.

We hope to be able to repeat the experience for the ladies next year, Deo volente!
