Saint Joseph Church

Stilesville

Saint Joseph Church is Our Lady of Joy Mission's central base. We purchased a church in Stilesville, on Gorge Road, in March of 2020, and have since then renovated it and adapted it to the celebration of the Traditional Latin Mass.

Anyone wishing to attend Mass at Saint Joseph Church must first call the Mission and meet with the priest.

Reine-des-Anges Mission

Acadian Peninsula

Reine-des-Anges Mission is a mission which was first visited for Mass on 12 May 2014. Mass was celebrated for the longest time at Villégiature Deux-Rivières, in Tracadie-Sheila.

We are presently saying Mass in private houses.

Saint Peter in Chains Chapel

Saint-André

Saint Peter in Chains Mission is located in Saint-André, northwest New Brunswick. The address of the chapel is 7 Allée de la Miséricorde, Saint-André.

Anyone wishing to attend Mass at Saint Peter in Chains chapel must first call the Mission and meet with the priest.

Star of the Sea Mission

Charlottetown

Star of the Sea Mission was first visited in autumn of 2011. Holy Mass has since been celebrated there on a regular basis. Mass was first celebrated in a private home for several years, then in a hotel, and finally in a recreational facility in the city of Charlottetown.

We currently visit the Mission every six weeks on weekdays.

Our Lady of the Assumption Mission

Lower Onslow

Our Lady of the Assumption Mission has been visited on a regular basis since 2011. Though there were Masses said in the area well before 2011, it was in that year, as far as we know, that the name was given to the Mission.

Mass was said for years in a hotel in Dartmouth, before moving to the Atlantic Funeral Home in Dartmouth. Mass is currently said in a rental hall in Lower Onslow.

Our Lady the Mystical Rose Mission

Amherst

Our Lady Mystical Rose Mission has been visited for many years by Father Mercereau, Father Ahern and afterwards by Father Roy.

Mass is said every six weeks on weekdays.

Our Lady of Compassion Mission

Saint John’s

Our Lady of Compassion Mission in Newfoundland has been visited since July of 2014 by Our Lady of Joy Mission, even though this name was given to the Mission only in September of 2022. Mass has been said often at Caul’s Funeral Home and is now said in a private home.

Saint Jean-Baptiste Mission

Québec and Ontario

Saint Jean-Baptiste Mission was founded on 24 June 2016. It has since been visited every month or month-and-a half.
